Crazy Homeless Weirdo was created by Ben Crowshaw (Yahtzee), and first appeared in the game Lunchtime of the Damned.
Important events[]
The crazy homeless bum keeps to himself in the alley behind Scid's bar. His only possesions are a box (often filled with goodies of one kind or another) and the broken-down jukebox which varies in its state of disrepair. He's the town weirdo, and his identity changes from game to game, as he is a very confused inidividual. He has been:
- Corporal Levine, United States Marine Corps - with an accent speech impediment (Lunchtime of the Damned)
- Jeff, a vulture (Vengeance of the Chicken)
- Susabelle, a woman who used to be Russian (Soviet Union Strikes Again)
- Joe-El, alien from Tau Ceti Beta (I Spy)
- A 70's disco dancer (Repossessor)
- Captain Greybeard, the fiercest pirate ever known (The Lost Treasure of RON)
- A Voodoo Man (Paranormal Investigation)
- Officer Sinny Binds, Litton County Police (I Spy 2)
- Mrs. Lumpycakes, English teacher (HMPP)
- . . . and many more.
In the game I Spy 2, Mika finds a folder marked 'Top Secret' in the Realiser's filing cabinet. She gives it to the bum and he learns his true identity (but we're not told what it is). However, his identity switching continues.
In Cabbages and Kings, we learn that the bum may also switch personalities after being hit the head. This is in addition to his "normal" daily personality changes.
